NARD star rating system was created so record labels would not have to filter through thousands of artists to find you. Labels can find the right artist in minutes.

Why Am I Rated

NARD rates your profile so record labels don't have to filter through artists they are not interested in. NARD created a website for record labels to find artists in minutes. NARD's mission is to give each artist a realistic opportunity to be signed to real labels. If you really want to know where your artistry stands, you are in the right place.

Is Everyone Rated

No! An Unsigned Artist with prior sales will not be rated. Your profile will be in a separate database. Remember, an artist with prior sales must provide traceable documentation. Your sales must exceed twenty five thousand (25k) sound-scan sales or fifty-thousand (50k) downloads in a 12 month span. If you cannot provide proof of sales, your profile will fall under the Unsigned Artists with no prior sales category.

When Is My Profile Rated

Once your profile is completely setup, it will be given to one of our A&R professionals who will carefully rate your profile. Keep in mind, we ask you to give us two (2) to three (3) weeks to be rated.

How Is My Pofile Rated

One of NARD's 300+ A&R professionals, specializing in your genre of music, will carefully listen to each song, watch your video(s) and photo gallery and study your bio. Once this is complete, the A&R expert will enter honest and professional feedback in your personal inbox which includes your star rating. Only you can view the feedback from our A&R professional.

Once My Profile Is Rated

Once your music is rated, companies will begin viewing your profile to determine whether they want to sign you or use your music or production. A four (4) or five (5) stars rating is really good, but companies are not only looking for ratings but also facebook, twitter and youtube followers. Followers have a lot to do with future sales.

Be Re-rated Every 30 Days

Once your music is rated and it is not up to par, you will be given written feedback in your profile inbox. Take this information, make changes and get rerated after 30 days. This will give you a greater opportunity to be signed by a major or indy label. You can also sign up to get professional phone consultation from an A&R expert specializing your genre of music.
